Oh Rayhan, lest you forget that I have a child? We celebrated 8 o'clock new year with him (sparkling apple juice and noise makers), put him to bed and got drunk in the basement while watching a "Reno911" marathon.

Perhaps I could tell them that you tolerate racial slurs fairly well and would be an asset to their particularly pale backdrop there.

I actually went OUT to a party with my husband and children. The party-giver actually paid for a babysitter to watch ALL the children that parents were bringing, so the kids were up in the main house playing kid games, eating pizza, and watching disney movies and all the adults were in another building getting sauced, watching loud movies, and eating our hearts out. The adults also had the air hockey and fussball games. 😀

Yeah, I actually wrote a LoI before Christmas, which you're probably not supposed to do before even receiving an interview. My rationale was they interviewed me last year so why not. Somehow though, I feel like it got tossed into the circular file....

You are getting off this list!! When I storm the beaches of 8th ave (CUCOM Admissins office) next week I am bringing a lifesize rendition of what I think you may look like judging from you uber-gorgeous children. I will have my very good friend dub your voice and together we will launch into a song and soft shoe number the like of which they have never seen!

That and I put you on the top of the list of people who may have my Vermont interview spot when I withdrew my application.

I did something very ballsy today...called Temple University....that's right, that Temple University with the admissions staff who've been rejected from holy hell. I called them to attempt to "co-ordinate" or "ask" or "casually grovel" for an invite. The lady made a note of it but was unable to give me anything until the director returned from a meeting. But the fact that I didn't suffer any whiplash from the venomous forked tongue and I managed to call have made this a true ballsy attempt. Go massive grapefruits. That is all.




P.S. the fact that I felt the need to post this will provide readers with a myriad of information regarding my social life.
