Hi,
For those of you who have entered AP credit using the system "999999 - highschool AP credit", I was wondering if anyone has gotten their GPA verified so far?

I was worried because AADSAS listed a separate transcript catagory for "999999 - Highschool AP" and said that until all trascripts are received, they will not begin GPA calculation.

AADSAS has already received my college transcript and I am just afraid that they will simply not calculate my GPA because the "999999 - highschool AP" shows up "not received".

Thank you!

i dont think we were supposed to use "999999 - highschool AP credit" for our APs. If you look at past threads and if you read the instruction book, it'll say to list the APs under first semester grades. Since you already submitted, I'd call up AADSAS and ask them how to go about this. It's really confusing how they put that AP credit thing under institution.

I emailed them about this matter already, but they told me that the way I listed them is fine... I was just a little concerned since my girlfriend, whose transciprt was received on the same day as mine has already got her GPA verified 4 days ago and mine have not.

I had that too 999999 ap credit. It doesnt matter in the end, you're gonna have to verify that you have completed the required courses. you're gonna have to send in final transcripts. dont stress.

Haha I really hope that I am OK. I was just afraid that my GPA calculation was held back because it shows that my "999999 - Highschool AP" is not received. My university transcript has already been received by AADSAS and I really wish that my GPA will be calculated.

you prolly made a mistake on your aadsas app. did you specify that your AP couse was an AP course, cause the same thing happened to me last year and i was all stressed out about it too. But it didnt matter to the schools. some schools dont even accept ap credits anyways. You most likely made a mistake on your app, but i think it was all be alright in the end.

I did specify that those courses are AP, I think I listed them exactly the same as how it appeared on University transcript. It's only been 10 days since they received my university transcript so hopefully my AADSAS GPA will show up in another few days. Maybe I should call them monday about this matter or is it too early?

Thanks for the input!

i dont think you know what im talking about. for ALL your other courses, you said they were some type of course. WIth AP, you have to specify that they are ap, its in the instructions. my application isnt active anymore. I bet you did the same thing i did. it should update both when your transcipt is recieved. call aadsas on monday, but i bet you didnt specify it. its not saying AP english course, its like one of the pull down options.

I am not sure if this is what you are talking about:

For both my AP chem/physics I have listed the course titles exactly the way it shows up on my transcript. Also, under the special classifications (I think this is what you are talking about?) I did put them down as "Advanced placement/CLEP"

Is this correct?

Thanks again!

yeah the second thing, so maybe u did do it right. then dont worry about it. mine said 99999 too, did it say recieved by it?

No, they said they have received my university transcript, but the "999999 - hischool AP credit" says "not received."

Is that something to worry about?

Thanks again!

its not anything to worry about. if you get accepted to a school, they will tell you which credits you need to fulfill. if one of them is our ap credit, you can just tell them its on your university transcipt. they will look at that and okay it. thats what i did. its on your university transcipt right?

Yea, those AP courses are listed on my university transcript. I guess I will wait for another few days before I call AADSAS on the matter. This whole AP listing business sure is confusing though...

Thanks for the help!
