assuming this site doesn't cater to more than what... 5% of the test takers? whatever.. can someone that has taken the test answer this question please? will the proctors allow us to write stuff down on our scrap paper before we hit the "begin" button? as in... can we memorize a whole crapload of info prior to beginning the physical sciences... and just write it down as soon as we're seated? oh and do they collect scrap paper at the end of each section? so we won't have to rewrite all the stuff we've memorized?

At my test center they didn't collect the scrap paper unless you wanted to get a new one, so you can have the same book through the test. I don't think writing down stuff in the beginning is a problem, I could have done it if I wanted. However, writing down equations don't help during physical section, I didn't use one equation during the whole section, everything I needed was in the passage.

So basically for the half hour during the tutorial, we can write stuff down on our paper? Even though it's probably not going to help that much, it might ease some nerves right before the exam

I like writing down whatever is in my head as soon as I sit down before a test, so it's good to hear that we can do it. After that my mind is completely free to relax and just go with the flow.

I took the January test and had 10 or so minutes for the tutorial. They might've changed that. I don't think they care if you write on the scratch sheet before the test starts. They give it to you when you sit down.
