Is there a way where i can find pharmacy schools in US that put less weight on having a major?

Has anyone recently been accepted without a degree?? PLEASE LIST YOUR STATS AS WELL!

Hi, I'm in my second year from a community college and I got accepted. Stats are posted in my signature.

I think it is very possible. I have been browsing this site for quite a long time and found many stories of people getting admitted without bachelor degrees.

BAs are really not that big of a deal. I had no BA, no pharmacy experience, yet I was still accepted to 4 out of the 8 schools that I applied to. I had a 3.7 GPA, 84% PCATs, and horrible interviews. If I interviewed a little better, I would have gotten into at least 6 schools. The most important thing that you can do is to APPLY EARLY and apply to A LOT of schools.

A lot of the students getting accepted have no majors, people with degrees or declared majors don't always have the advantage.

I'm one of them 🙂

thats great congrats!

may i ask which schools you applied to? this winterbreak my goal is to compile all the possible schools that i would apply to and get all these prereqs done!

also I don't have that high of a GPA, my cum is 3.4 and my math and science average out to be about 3.1 do you know which schools would be best for me?

People with degrees definitely have an advantage over non-degree students at any school you apply at. At many schools, it is very important. The important thing is to have stats that will compensate for your lack of degree.

i have a degree and all i have is 1 interview so far and no acceptance. i haven't heard from the other schools as of today.
