As @Weirdy said, talk to your school. I had a friend who this happened to and it effected their residency rank status so they had to find a position after the standard match process once they passed the 2nd retake. It may be different now but not all is lost if you pass it on the 3rd try. You need to iron out the exact details with your school though.

Yeah just my own opinion, the retake I received was so unlike what i expected/studied for. A ton of epidemiology/medical ethics/law q's that I still dont know where to find the answers to. It was polar opposite of the january exam - like just void of the high yield topics a 4th year podiatry student should be asked about. All im asking for at this point is an exam that is representative of the material we have been prepping with. Hoping the curve comes through

Meazure Learning, a leading provider of end-to-end test development and delivery solutions for professional testing and higher-education organizations, has announced it has been selected by the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners (NBPME) to develop and deliver the American Podiatric Medical Licensing Exam (APMLE) in a multi-year agreement. The exam will be administered through the Meazure Exam Platform and available through Meazure Learning’s network of more than 650 professional test centers throughout the U.S.

Meazure is already being sued by future attorneys for mishandling the California Bar Exam. If lawyers believe Meazure’s failures are serious enough for a class action lawsuit, why should NBPME still trust them with podiatry licensing exams?

This isnt just one mistake... its a clear pattern of failure. Meazure botched APMLE Part 1 for the Co26, Part 2 for the Co25, and the Cali Bar Exam. Technical failures, scoring inconsistencies, and system crashes have impacted thousands of test-takers across multiple professions.

If Meazure cannot deliver high-stakes exams reliably, NBPME must immediately reconsider their contract. Students' careers should not be jeopardized by repeated administrative failures.

It’s time for accountability. Either Meazure fixes these issues immediately, or NBPME must find a testing provider that can actually do the job right.

The most frustrating part of this whole scenario is the timing of it all. With the match notification email going out this week it's just the biggest slap in the face for everyone who initially received a passing score, was asked to retake, and failed again. A May retake means absolutely nothing at this stage

NBPME board members are bunch of old people and they really don’t care. These people need to be forced to retire. They are only damaging the reputation of podiatry. Imagine not even doing anything to fix the inconsistency in how tests are being administered and the results. So many students who should be in the match this year are prevented due to NBPME not holding meazure accountable.
