Are Bellevue and NYU-Bellevue different sites?

I'm asking because, if not, it seems they have different interview dates for the same track.

I'm definitely starting to stress out about interviews. Going to start interview prep today since my first interview is in two weeks 😱 Can't believe it's that time already...
 
Has anyone gotten a rejection from Emory neuro, Marcus, UFHSC neuro, Baylor TX Children’s, or Baylor neuro? I see people got interviews for these, but a day or two later I haven’t heard anything.

I’ve been looking for TX Children’s/BaylorCM and haven’t heard anything. They have sent out two waves of invites thus far, so the most recent may have just been part of a longer sequence of invites. I’m sure we will find out soon enough. Regarding Baylor Menninger, I haven’t heard anything from that side.

They’re the same. It looks like they assigned people to interview dates themselves. Apparently you can request a change if you need though they seem to discourage it

Congrats! Did you get a choice of dates for Bellevue? I’m also child and adolescent track but I was only given one date (December 14).

I didn't get a choice either! I currently have 3 interviews scheduled for that week, which are luckily all in NY, but I'm feeling stresseddddd. I feel like we applied to a lot of the same sites, so I hope we overlap at some of our interviews! It would be awesome to meet a fellow SDN nerd 😉

PS - I heard from a previous interviewee at NYU-Bellevue that they don't offer food/lunch, so be sure to bring some of your own food and snacks!

What is the etiquette for when you are only offered one date and have a conflict (and the two sites are both high on your list)? Are you supposed to try to reschedule the first site? Or can you ask about other the other interview dates that they list, but didn't offer you?

This just (literally, like two seconds ago) happened to me, and I sent an email explaining that I had a conflict and asking if there might be an alternate date available. If you're super interested in the site, I would also say that if no alternative dates are available that you will make every effort to move things around so that you can attend in person (this is also what I said). I would recommend responding asap because you're more likely to get an alternative date if you reply promptly. Good luck!! What a crazy process, amirite?

I had something similar happen today. Two of my interviews had to be scheduled back to back because only one date was offered for each. So it looks like I’ll have an interview in Cleveland and immediately drive to Asheville for the one the next day. Yayy 8.5 hour drive! 😉 I’m a bit stressed too lol

Well, when you're in OH the roads will be plowed pretty well, and then it won't be snowing as you get further south -- once you're nearer to the mountains/Asheville, they'll handle the snow pretty well too! Snow doesn't start to get bad until late December.
(Not sure where you're from-- so I guess this assessment is all relative!)
