Not that I’m panicking (ok, I’m totally panicking), but is it possible to see a list of programs that took part in Phase II in previous years? I know I can see the threads from previous years, but I’d like to see the full list, if possible.

Haha yeah now you get to play the fun game the rest of us have been playing where you spend days at a time playing out all the different scenarios...was I on the yes list but they just forgot to send me an email?....am I on some sort of waiting list and will get an invite if someone else can't come?...am I already rejected and they just haven't told me yet? ah, the apps got more expensive after the 15th app... thought it might be because of the date of application. I see... its after the 15th app. My brain is only good for refreshing emails these days **laughs maniacally anyway**

Ha it is totally an ill feeling. I've flirted with the "waiting list" idea but still have a difficult time truly believing that this type of thing exists. Would people really turn down an interview, or even have significant conflicts this early in the game? Especially with highly competitive sites, I'd imagine everyone would take the opportunity to interview. Buuuut, what other explanation is there for the receipt of invitations without the receipt of rejections? This type of mystery is not of the fun, healthy type.

Exactly. I aimed pretty high so I'd rather just know the consequences than spend my waking hours questioning the unknowable. I'm having to check my reports for Freudian slips at this point.

What is everyone's strategy with booking plane tickets? Debating whether to book now or wait to see if I hear more to see how flights stagger with multiple interviews

Definitely stagger: you can save more money booking multi-city trips than booking roundtrip tickets.

I’m currently waiting to hear from a site that has an interview date the day before an interview I already have and is in the same region. Although I’m tempted to just go ahead and book the flight just to get that off my plate, I think it’s wiser to wait....and maybe only book the flight back instead of a round trip one?

I would warn against this if your intent is to try to guess at what sites might end up in Phase II this year. It just doesn't work like that. I fell into that trap of thinking last year because my top site had been in Phase II with 2 open slots the previous year...but I did not match to them and they were not in Phase II.

Just breathe! As long as you only submit rankings for sites you are 100% willing to go to, then try to remember that any internship is a good internship because it means you can graduate. One year of work will not determine the trajectory for your entire 20+ year career in this field.

Can anyone tell me what specifically needs to be uploaded to the USAJobs application as far as documents go? I uploaded my CV, Enrollment Verification, Transcripts, and my APPIC Match Receipt (one of the 3 options listed in the email). Do I need to upload anything else? I saw somewhere that we also either need to upload confirmation of AAPI completion and/or a copy of the AAPI but I'm not sure...this is all so confusing

Skirt or pant suits are fine. It's generally a mix of both with applicants. Black/Navy/Grey are ok. Generally stick with neutral colors for suits and you'll be fine and consistent with other applicants.

Hi! So I've heard that navy is becoming more and more common, so I got a navy suit 🙂. I did pants, didn't consider skirt though! Perhaps someone else can weigh in on that! Also, I have heard that traditional button ups are also less common lately.

It seems like a lot of places are sending their invites by track, rather than by program. What track did you apply to? I also got an interview here, but for the Clinical Psychology track.
