Did you apply to adult or child/adolescent focused rotations at WPIC? I’m wondering if they sent all the invites out at once or if they are coming out in waves...

That being said, and as my icon is a picture of Skinner, maybe the coping thoughts are not that helpful and you could try something behavioral. I was literally just running a DBT group and demonstrated The T of the TIP skill today (I put my face in ice water). We tracked my heart rate and it decreased from 116 after jogging in place to 56 in a matter of seconds. If you don't want to dunk your face, try just running your wrist under cold water (similar effect 111bpm to 63 bpm) 😀

Email the TD and ask. Some are still open because they’re extending their dates and it hasn’t shown up in late breaking news yet

Has anyone heard from MetroHealth? In the past their notification dates have been the week before Thanksgiving, so not sure if they are late to notifying this year or if they've sent out invites and I should be awaiting a rejection...

I’m waiting to hear from them as well! Haven’t seen anyone post about having heard from them, so as far as I know they haven’t contacted people yet. Their notification deadline is posted as 12/1.

I'm still waiting on Children's National and the calls were hours ago....looks like that's a rejection for me 🙁
 
Does anyone know if Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital extended its deadline via one of our "Breaking News" emails? Its portal is still open and this site may not have been in my purview at the time it came along.
 
I saw that someone received a Miami VA invite for the Neuro track--can anyone confirm whether or not health psych track invites also went out already? And also, has anyone heard from the DC VA?

Highly recommend watching endless amounts of HGTV and Food Network. Tangent, but I actually watched an epsiode of House Hunters the other day where the couple wanted a CLOSED FLOOR PLAN and CARPET in every room (!!!). Judging other people's home decor choices soothes my soul.

Ha both good recommendations. I find the Great British Baking Show to be somewhat entertaining as well, with an occasional clever comment.

I recently watched the Kominsky Method and it was decent - not action-packed or anything, but a few good laughs. Of course, my two mainstays are the Office and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

This is on my Netflix list! I've heard so many good things about this show but I've been saving it for desperate times...like now.

The amount of love I feel for Shameless is endless 😍 I've watched them all and love all the characters but Frank and Lip are my favorites. So so good.

I'm preparing for a torrential downpour of notifications in a very short period of time, including both sites that have notified no one (to my knowledge) and those who have already sent a wave of invites.
 
So I'm thinking ahead here, but is anyone facing the unfortunate event of flying across the country to a far away state TWICE? I tried my best to schedule interviews around expected dates but it's very possible i'll have 2 separate interviews 2 weeks apart, in the farthest state from where I live....
