I think that a number of places made errors in which interview dates they reported.

I applied to the adult track & heard back from mhcd 2 wks ago. And I also got an email about my materials being received today. The director of the consortium is not involved in making the interview selection ~ that’s up to the individual sites. So essentially I don’t believe that email relates to your interview status.

As a separate but arguably important point, invitations are used to create the master list (which can also be accomplished via DM to Grenth for those who would rather avoid drawing attention to themselves in the thread). This list is not only informative to us, but will be viewed by future cohorts to determine general site patterns, notification dates, etc. I view the master list as a service to those who will eventually go through this anxiety-provoking process. And if any concerning activity is occurring, it should be reported - I feel that this site is likely monitored quite well and those in charge would be responsive to such reports.

Such misleading timing! So I'll assume it's still a rejection.

I didn't receive an email about that but I did just receive an interview invitation from them! Eeek!:nailbiting:

For folks who received an invitation to interview with the Missouri Health Science Psychology Consortium (DHP not Truman), have you gotten your interview date confirmed yet? It's been a week and I'm feeling like I should check in...
 
I just heard from FMC Devens that I was designated as "Best Qualified" and invited for an interview! The BOP interview dates are: January 6, 10, 13, 17, 24, and 27. Good luck to everyone who has made it this far in the process!

What I’m sorry, but it’s literally named “the hospital for sick children”??
 
Alright can someone please explain to me the reasoning behind this process... I started off ok and have 4 interviews so far (2 of those are conflicting at the moment and it’s unclear if the 2nd site will accommodate). However, I’ve received 4 rejections in the last 2 days...3 of which were sites I had considered safety applications. 🙁 Feeling very discouraged and anxious about the remaining sites I’m waiting to hear from.

Maybe ask a friend or advisor for feedback on your safety-site cover letters to see if they sound less enthusiastic or if there's any indication that the site isn'tone of your top choices. I've heard training directors say that goodness of fit and enthusiasm are pretty important and that they can often tell from cover letters whether they are one of an applicant's top sites or whether applicants just applied there as backup to be safe.

Also, 4 interviews is good! I know plenty of people who matched with only 1-2 interviews. Try not to stress too much!
