Me too! Yeah, the attachment felt unnecessary and that it would be additional work.I got the same rejection...maybe it's just my opinion but an attachment seems like more work 😵
I have. Twice I think.Has anyone actually gotten an invitation on the interview notification day?
I in no way want to take away from your excitement in being invited for an interview as I am stoked to see anyone get an interview in this hellish process but maybe posting with a more informative tone or detail could be more helpful to other very anxious students on this forum looking for information and updates. I am only speaking for myself but as someone who has yet to receive an interview, and seeing others who are in the same boat, seeing this kind of post with no information as to what site has notified stirs up a lot more anxiety. I understand there has been personal safety/information concerns but maybe airing on the side of not posting over posting vague information on a forum where people want to know what sites are contacting may be more helpful. I don't want to take away from you success in this process at all that is not my intention, but seeing this kind of a post can be a real gut punch to those of us still waiting for that excitement and I just wanted to provide a little perspective. I wish you the best of luck in your interviews!Got some good news just now from one of my 7 pending sites. Another VA!
Just got an email from them a little while ago with an offer to interview. Not sure how I’m going to work this one out. Thanks - I am hoping it's not a rejection.
I applied to Bright Future Foundation. Hope you hear back soon with better news!Sorry to hear this. Waiting to hear back from them. Which site did you apply to?
I thought it was supposed to be earlier too weird. Thank you for letting us know!
I've noticed several sites have changed their notification date from the original one posted. I made a list of all the notification dates and several have been extended.

Congrats!
Thank you! I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised. I received that invite after receiving tons of rejections. Hoping for the best!
Yes! I've gotten a few (mass email invites) on earlier notification days!Has anyone actually gotten an invitation on the interview notification day?
Has anyone heard from Advocate Family Care Network? Their notification date says 12/31 but I feel like that has to be a typo?
I am waiting on IU Ball as well.Has anyone heard from Washburn Center for Children or IU Health Ball Memorial?
Congratulations! I didn't get an interview here, but I've only heard good things about their program 🙂Official Site Name: University of Michigan UCC

I received an interview offer for the Child Track at Rutgers UBHC Newark -- and got my rejections from Montefiore and Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center today!Has anyone heard from Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care specifically for the child track (I see that other tracks have been notified)?
For me...I've already concluded that at least 5-6 of my 7 sites I am waiting on are rejections. So...to help visualize this, see below:

I’m not sure what you’re going for here, but the gif of the Joker carrying a detonator with a violent explosion going on in the background seems wildly inappropriate for this forum. This isn’t a private text thread with friends.
I fully agree with you, @Seven_CostanzaI’m not sure what you’re going for here, but the gif of the Joker carrying a detonator with a violent explosion going on in the background seems wildly inappropriate for this forum. This isn’t a private text thread with friends.
Really? You are policing a gif? Especially one that I had posted a while back several pages ago? For you, you may use this forum in one manner, others, such as mysef use it differently. Some of us use this as a place to vent, to relax, etc. For the record, if you think my gif is so terrible, you really ought to take a look at the medical subforums, etc. I do not apologize for posting this gif.

I got this too!!!! Honestly freaking out a little. Very excited!
Seven_Costanza, if I were you I wouldn't engage with this user. They appear to have a pattern of posting comments that evoke frustration or anxiety among other members of the forum.“Several pages ago” was 35 minutes ago and I’m not on the medical forum. I didn’t police anything and didn’t ask for an apology. I just think you should consider how you use this not-so-private forum. But whatever, it’s not my career.
I agree - I’ve been following this thread throughout the notification season and neurocog appears to have posted many problematic things across a number of weeks. He/she seems to get a rise out of provoking others/inciting anxiety.Seven_Costanza, if I were you I wouldn't engage with this user. Performance-based questions, such as describe a situation in which x, a time when y, how you would approach z, etc. Essentially, how you think through and navigate a situation - process being equally or more important than any conclusion/solution.
Thank you! And yeah, I've heard awesome things about it too. Pretty excited 🙂Congratulations! I didn't get an interview here, but I've only heard good things about their program 🙂
The post I made regarding keeping my internship interviews on the DL was sparked not because of a personal vendetta. I literally have a message in my PM box where the person admitted that they knew who I was personally because they saw my "writing style" on this forum, and somehow remembered this writing style in a listserv email they received a long time ago (I don't normally post on a listserve, so I know it was a while back). This person would have needed to dig through those emails and magically find the email they felt my writing style matched to make that connection to confirm their theory. That is creepy as hell. So, yes, I decided to be more cautious with my internship posts because I dont know their intentions (they could be nefarious for all I know).
There were multiple requests for you to clarify this when you posted this a while ago and it was ignored. Yes you don't "owe" anyone anything, but people made it clear they were disturbed by the comment and it would have been considerate to have shared this information at the time that people were panicking and deleting their posts without knowing why.
This is almost funny because you are the person who said that you were removing all of your sites because "there are people lurking on here with ill intentions" and then never responded to anybody's follow-ups asking for clarification. It's the internet equivalent of yelling "BOMB" in a crowded theater and then telling everybody who was scared that it was their fault they were scared and that they could have chosen not to be scared in the moment. Kind of ridiculous.Causing anxiety? I chose not to engage in these conversations for a specific reason. I owe no one anything. As harsh as that sounds, I can chose who I tell things to, and who I don't', how much or how little information to share. "Causing" is fresh...from my understanding within CBT, no one causes another person to be angry, anxious, etc., rather, it's the percepotions that person holds of the situation. Something can be anxiety-provoking, such as a post I made, but whether or not you elect to perceive it and think about it in such a way will be the culprit behind you getting anxious. So no, I won't bear the weight of the entire world on my shoulders. People make provocative and controversial comments all of the time on here. People will agree and disagree with others. That's fine too. There have been several posters on here that may not click with me, but I sure won't go out of my way to publically shame them, etc. The post I made regarding keeping my internship interviews on the DL was sparked not because of a personal vendetta. Sure, and I get that. But again, I chose not to for very specific reasons. At that time, I was being bombarded with PMs. It got to a point to where I wasn't sure who I could trust to tell. It still a very "active" situation I was trying to figure out. At that point, I also remembered that while people may not like that I had posted that, and it was anxiety-provoking, that they would have the strength to move forward. I would hope so at least. All of us right now are going through a very anxiety-provoking process for a myriad of reasons. We are all in some way...getting through it. At the same time, I was trying to process what was going on. Rather than respond with rash comments, etc., I chose not to respond and let time take its course. That's my choice. That was what I elected to do. Others may have gone about it a different way, and that's fine. If this unfortunate thing happened to you, I am sure you would also deal with it in a way that was conducive to you.
This is fair. I'm just speaking from the perspective of someone seeing this go down in real time from an outside perspective. Since you appear to be frustrated that people are making assumptions about your motives/character it seemed appropriate to recognize what inspired this feeling in people. And I appreciate that you said as much as you did in your recent clarification.
