My suggestion for all who are suffering from anxiety is to apply what you know to improve self-care...
From an ACT perspective, do what you can to diffuse from your thoughts. Recognize that your thoughts and feeling are what they are but they are not you. Apply mindfulness skills such as... Putting your problems on a leaf or attach them to a baloon and let them go. You may also benifit from telling your mind "thank you" for telling you what you already know.
From a CBT perspective, evaluate your thoughts on a true or false basis and then ask yourself if they are helpful... Identify what you have control over and and what you do not...
Positive Psych perspective.... What are you grateful for?? How can you express you appreciation to others? Where can you go to gain an awe experience? Broaden and Build is always helpful to escape from internal anxiety.

Please feel free to add other theretical orientations that could help our nervous colleagues during this time!!

Thank you! Unfortunately I'm not sure about the other tracks, but it is possible they just haven't sent those out yet. Notifying tracks separately seems to be fairly common?? It looks like Rush sent out their Health Psych invites, but I haven't heard about anything about their Neuro track yet!

For a lot of places, separate tracks have their own process. We've always reviewed and sent out invites for neuro differently than the other psych tracks.

Since it was a personal email (vs mass emails), does anyone know if they may be sending out other interview invites? I know for some sites they don't send the invites all at once, but more on a rolling basis?

I retooled mine a *bit*, but mostly to edit to their date preference (MM/YYYY). I also cut a lot of things that weren't "relevant" (e.g., publications) for the site. Hopefully I did it "right"! It still ended up being 4 pages :'(

Congratulations! Since it was a personal email, I'm wondering if they will slowly start to trickle out to the applicants. Here's hoping!
