I’m sorry to hear that! I’m in the same boat, with two confirmed rejections today, including the Adult Track at UPenn. The email said that they received upwards of 260 applications for 30 internship slots, so a lot of great applicants likely didn’t make the cut. My fingers are crossed for better news tomorrow and in the coming days this week for you!

Also, just got my rejection from the UCSF Clinical Psychology Training Program (mass email, 8:59pm, 11/30/20). Applied to both tracks (Public Service & Minority, and Clinical Assessment and Interventions).

Hi! I was in your shoes last year... I see folks talking about rejection after rejection and how hard it is hitting. I just wanted to let y'all know that I felt like that too and it was so demoralizing. I think I had like six rejections and one interview by the second week of December and I was panicking. Then all of a sudden invites started to roll in, and by December 28th I remember I had 7 interviews and maybe 8 rejections. They will come!


And if they don't, all it takes is one site. And, that site doesn't even have to be in Phase I. There were a number of sites that were very prestigious with quality training in round 2 last year, as well as a number of applicants with quality training that just didn't find the right match. It will work out.

Got an email from medical college of Wisconsin that said they were not able to offer me an interview but should an interview spot open up, they would still consider offering me an interview. Has anyone else gotten an email like this or heard of this before?

Yes I applied to both neuropsych tracks and no it was a very general mass email that just said "neuropsychology track"

No (important 😆) emails yesterday OR today (although it is still early yet). Seems like every time I think it's going to be a day full of notifications I am far off. At the very least, most sites set their notification deadline for two weeks from now. Can't wait for this waiting process to be OVER and for the next waiting process for Feb 19th to begin
