Just got this too. This was one of my favorite sites but I have to say this may have been the least thoughtful rejection email I have received. (And I received plenty...😉) Ah well - takes the edge off a bit I guess.

So impersonal! And seems hastily written. I've been (SO) lucky that this is my only one up to this point (still waiting to hear from more sites)!

thank you <3 I completed these applications only a few weeks after giving birth to my first child because i was so determined to continue moving forward with my career, and I know I did a good job despite the lack of sleep! praying for the same sort of response you got...

I was in the same situation last year and decided to hold off applying for a year. But honestly traveling right after birth for interviews was one of my main reasons for waiting. From a mama of 3 (1 of which arrived 3 months before starting grad school and 2 of which happened during grad school), great job! You have a lot to be proud of.

As to the quality, I appreciate the volume of work and integrity put forth by TDs and training committees during internship season and as long as it’s not actively mean, I am personally just happy for the closure of an official rejection at all.

Has anyone gotten a rejection from Youth Opportunity Center? I saw someone post an interview invite via mass email, but haven't seen any rejections. I haven't heard from them despite the notification date being Friday, but it seems like last year they sent rejections days after the deadline.

When I spoke to the program coordinator, she said anything between 0-100 is fine, but that it doesn’t actually matter!

I edited my post to add in their notification date, which I just checked and it’s today! Hopefully we’ll hear something today. I wonder with their rolling notification if they decide to extend more interviews based on how the earlier interviews go. They’ve had 4 interview days including today.
