Happy new week everyone! Hoping for the last invites to roll out this week (or some closure).

Has anyone gotten a rejection from Youth Opportunity Center? I saw someone post an interview invite via mass email, but haven't seen any rejections. I haven't heard from them despite the notification date being Friday, but it seems like last year they sent rejections days after the deadline.

Has anyone heard from the VA in DC? I had a friend receive a rejection from them a week ago and I still haven’t heard from them either way so I’m not sure if I should be emailing them checking in at this point?

I received an invite from them on 12/2 and I think their notification deadline was 12/4. The TD has been incredibly warm and responsive, so I'd definitely say go ahead and reach out!

Charleston Consortium did not have a last minute change of a heart 😓 ARGH they also had a comparable number of applications as last year.

Charleston rejection @ 12:25pm. This was one of 2 programs I applied to that I knew before submitting were a huge stretch; not in terms of competence, but training goals fit. I’m glad myself and the training committee mutually agreed on that 😆

Rejection at Charleston Consortium, this one was not surprising to me but wow, 300 apps sounds awful 😂 Now waiting on Hefner and Roudebush VAs...WHY must they toy with my emotions this long?! (Kidding, this year has been such a dumpster fire and I’m honestly pretty surprised this process has gone as smoothly as it has thus far). Good luck to everyone with their interviews!! 🙂

Do you know if it was a bcc mass email or personalized one? I think my friend said her rejection was a bcc mass email so not sure how I haven't heard then. Their deadline says 12/4 but no later than 12/15 so I was thinking I would reach out tomorrow. Thank you for the help!

Rejection here, too, but I was figuring that. That was my last site to hear back from so it's nice to just have closure so I can stop obsessively refreshing my e-mail. Now to just focus on the interviews I do have and finishing my dissertation.
