If so, in the email with interview details, the director said she had included a "shortened version of their brochure with sample schedule, living in the area and federal benefits." My email did not include any of that... Did anyone else's?

Finally received Bellevue rejection! They sting a lot less when you’ve known they’re coming for a month 🙂

I got my Bellevue rejection just now. It was a very nicely crafted email. Respectful and not insulting at all. I read it and smiled because I would still apply to that site in the future, just because the email was so nice.

thanks for sharing!! I looked at some of the APPIC interview threads from past years and it looks like they've notified applicants sometime past the interview notification date, so I'm hoping they're just running a little behind and that this does not mean I have been rejected, but who knows! I may email the TD to check in.

Okay everyone, I am in a predicament and need advice if anyone has any. I am again having an issue where a site is not receiving my email responses. I have emailed three times (in response to different email follow-ups) and have left voicemails on the phone numbers they have given me. They are somehow not getting any of my messages as they left a message to me today saying they would give up my spot on Thursday if they don't hear from me. I don't know what else to try!! I emailed my DT for advice but he hasn't responded yet. Does anyone have any other ideas to deal with this?

Have you tried emailing from an alternate email address? For example, your personal email address instead of a school email address?

I would try contacting them from a different email account or from a different number. It might be that your email account might be triggering a spam blocker, which is common if you are contacting VA’s specifically.

Do you have another email address you can try emailing from? Perhaps something about the address you are currently using is not getting through.

Thank you all for your helpful responses!! When I posted I had already tried from both my personal and work emails AND from two different phone numbers as their number seemed to be blocking one of mine. I ended up trying a third email account (a non-gmail account) and they received that one. So if anyone runs into this, try to contact them from a completely different email platform (Outlook worked and Gmail did not)! Added unnecessary stress to this process lol.

*Edit to add that this was not a VA site; I've heard there have been issues with VA sites but this was not which is why I was particularly confused!
