I know this particular site has had a million questions asked about it. So in case this is at all helpful to anyone: I emailed them yesterday evening (12/14) asking if there was any news since their notification date as 12/11. They emailed today in response to that email inviting me to an interview. So maybe go ahead and ask? Or hopefully everyone will be hearing back one way or another today.

I just received a rejection in response to my inquiry, so it looks like it's a toss up! At least the wait is finally over!

Arg RIGHT. I mean I hope mass emails or communications are coming out soon either way. It sucks waiting.

Okay everyone, I am in a predicament and need advice if anyone has any. I am again having an issue where a site is not receiving my email responses. I have emailed three times (in response to different email follow-ups) and have left voicemails on the phone numbers they have given me. They are somehow not getting any of my messages as they left a message to me today saying they would give up my spot on Thursday if they don't hear from me. I don't know what else to try!! I emailed my DT for advice but he hasn't responded yet. Does anyone have any other ideas to deal with this?
 
Rejection from NorthWell Health Staten Island in spam. For my neuro peeps do you have any recommendations for those that received 4 or fewer interviews and may be going into phase II? Trying to stay optimistic but feeling like I need to improve in some areas due to the limited # of interviews I have received.

That SUCKS! Could you make a new email address (gmail?) and email them from there, explaining the issue? Good luck!!!

Have you tried emailing from an alternate email address? For example, your personal email address instead of a school email address?

I would try contacting them from a different email account or from a different number. It might be that your email account might be triggering a spam blocker, which is common if you are contacting VA’s specifically.

Do you have another email address you can try emailing from? Perhaps something about the address you are currently using is not getting through.

Maybe call the site’s front desk or something?
 
Thank you all for your helpful responses!! When I posted I had already tried from both my personal and work emails AND from two different phone numbers as their number seemed to be blocking one of mine. I ended up trying a third email account (a non-gmail account) and they received that one. So if anyone runs into this, try to contact them from a completely different email platform (Outlook worked and Gmail did not)! Added unnecessary stress to this process lol.

*Edit to add that this was not a VA site; I've heard there have been issues with VA sites but this was not which is why I was particularly confused!

I just got this rejection. Congratulations! I had a friend interview there last year and she said the TD and interns were lovely and that the interns seemed super happy there! Best of luck! 🤗
 
has anyone received an official rejection from Cleveland Clinic Children’s yet? Still waiting...notification was supposed to be sent on 12/4

Yes! Interviewed there yesterday and got my schedule and details on Friday. Dan White is the program coordinator. He sent a document with a single link and then managed our movement through breakout rooms.
