is it possible to apply in december for the next fall admission?

I am thinking about taking classes till the end of december to improve my GPA, then I will apply by that time?

I know that one should apply as early as possible, etc.

I am just wondering if it is actually possible at all?

THe majority of schools deadlines have passed. But there are a few schools with a Dec. 15 deadline so if you plan on applying, get moving!!

Actually, I am thinking that I will apply in early October.

then I will tell them that I am taking a few classes, the grades won't be availiable till Dec.

is that possible? How big is my chance of being accepted?

You don't have to be finished with all of your classes to apply - I have two more semesters of grades coming, and am in the app process for next fall.

the earlier the better. at some medical schools, even the secondary deadlines have passed by december. october is pushing it. cause it takes awhile to recieve and turn around secondaries. so you wnat your secondaries as soon as possible. just apply in summertime. your chances are better! (and they will know which classes you are still taking because you will enter it on your AMCAS, or you can write them update letters!).

Ok, so I should apply as soon as the application process starts.

However, since I am taking more classes, and the grades won't be availible till Dec, would they actually consider about my application after December at all?

OK, I misread your post, I thought you were applying right now.

You should send in your app in the summer. Just put on the app that you are planning on taking the courses.
