How common, if it happens at all, would it be for someone to apply for multiple residencies at the same MTF? Like suppose I wanted to my residency in San Antonio and ranked ENT, Ortho, Urology, GS at San Antonio and then ENT, Ortho, Urology, GS at Madigan........so 4 different specialties is probably a bit of an exaggeration. But does this happen?

When you apply, you select a specialty goal (your number 1). You then rank every program in that specialty. After that, you may rank other specialties and locations.

So, no, you cannot rank:
1) BAMC ENT
2) BAMC Ortho
3) BAMC Urology
4) BAMC General Surgery
5) MAMC ENT
6) MAMC Ortho
7) MAMC Urology
8) MAMC General Surgery

Remember, you're ranking locations that offer a program, not programs offered at a location.

apparently you used to be able to do that. however, like stated above you must now rank all the programs in your declared specialty. you can rank another specialty if there are limited slots, for example neuro surgery which only has one slot.
