Hey, I was wondering if anyone is applying to school without finishing your bachelors. I know most schools you can apply as long as you have all of the pre-req's done and at least 90 credits completed. (nova applicants!)

If you have, what has your luck been so far?

Thanks!

Many individuals from Utah apply w/o a bachelor's coming. I have many friends who are interviewing all over the country , marq, louisville, case, nova etc.

It is usually the private schools where they are having the most success with getting interviews.

i kinda felt that most schools want a bachelor's dregree, i'm not sure about a lot of the private schools that dddsmack was talking about, but i know schools like ucla and ucsf REALLY want a bachelor's. not only that, i feel they prefer 4 years of college, even though it may be much harder to graduate in 3, i feel they want an applicant that took all of the opportunities given to them during undergrad. it's up to you, and technically, you do have a chance at getting in, but i feel not having a bachelor's could set you aside, and maybe make you less competitive than other applicants. the process also costs tons of money, so i'd probably wait and make sure my app is as best as i can get it to be, with a bachelor's degree.

but i'm sure you know what you're doing if you're already interviewing at nova

I was just sharing info, that is what is going on around here.

ya dddsmack im sure you're right about the schools like case, nova, and marquette. to be honest i really didn't look into those schools so i'm not sure of their stance on a b.s. degree. i know the uc schools don't suggest applying after 3 years, much less without a bachelor's

See, I don't know anything about Cali schools, I didn't apply to any.
Good Luck

Thanks guys! I mean I feel pretty confident about my app but I was just curious if many other SDN's were doing the same so we could talk, lol. I applied to Nova early because to me it is the only school worth missing out of a year of college for (I just love everything about it). I figured that I'd just try to see if just maybe it would work out. But of course, if I dont get in this time around, I'll apply next year with the "whole package".

Thanks for all of your input... I'll let you know after Jan 5th how it worked out. Maybe I'll see you dddsmack at nova 😛
