Hey guys,

I know aasdsas calculates both your plus/minus gpa and without the plus/minus. I was wondering if anyone knows what dental schools prefer or consider more important. (such as when you look at the class profiles of some schools can you be considered competitive if your +/- is lower but without +/- is on par?) I was asking because there is a big difference between my gpa. For example, my overall gpa is a 3.43 with the plus/minus and a 3.613 without. Also my science is a 3.456 with plus/minus and a 3.538 without.

Also I know I havent provided any more information, but I was wondering what y'all thoughts are on my gpa, whether it can get me into a school, going into applying in June

Thank you

If you check other threads you will see that it's impossible to predict chances of your admission without knowing other factors; DAT, EC, shadowing... Statistically speaking your gpa is slightly below the average of acceptances if that's what you are asking, but know that it is in the acceptable range for many schools. If you want to be competitive for "better" schools try acing the DAT. GL.

A 0.1 +/- point is not going to break the bank.
