So, I'm basically hanging on to the august mcat to carry me through this year. I've never taken this test before, and I still have to start studying...so, i realize this is a huge risk, but say I do poorly...like below 30...should I withdraw my apps, or finish the process (knowing I will be rejected by all)?

thanks

first off.... STUDY NOW. you can still get into schools with lower than 30 but a 30+ will make it easier (though still no guarantees). First thing you should do is to make sure you are working on your AMCAS - the biggest mistake most august mcat takers make is not getting all their materials in on time. It delays the process further and it doesnt help that they dont get their scores til mid october. So, work on your application, get it submitted and study study study. But if you're not serious about the august mcat, then i would consider all of it a waste of time
