so I have been accepted at a few schools. One of my IS schools offered me a considerable scholarship, bringing the price even lower than the OS school that I would most prefer to attend. My question is whether there is a way to appropriately tell the OS school that I have a scholarship offer at my IS and to ask if they can offer anything as well. I'd try to convey that they are my first choice for school, but that I would have to have a drop in the price to be able to attend. So what is the best way to go about this?

I suspect that it will all depend upon whether the IS school is better than the OS one. If not, the OS one may very well say "Congrats and good luck there"

I was able to leverage scholarship money. A top 25 school that was also IS gave me a substantial scholarship but I wanted to go to the school that was in my home city. I sent my first choice school a nicely worded email and they were able to match my scholarship offer. I say go for it.
