Yes you may for some schools, it is past the AACOMAS deadline but if you have submitted your AACOMAS before then there is no prob. I am planning to do that very same thing and so far 2 of the 3 osteo. schools I am applying to have said it is ok - the only disadvantage is you may not know the decision until June 2006. The MCAT must be taken the year prior to matriculation. That's just how it works.

I know several students who are now MS1s at LECOM Erie who took their first MCAT in April 2005, so I know it's possible there.

I know it must be taken prior to marticulation, but i m saying is what if i took the up coming april exam, would i still be able to apply for a seat in next years class?

Yea, probably the best bet. I ve had a few people tell me it can't be done, but i m glad to hear that there is still hope 👍
