Red eye flight from Cali to Philly: $680.00
Night at the Wyndham: $149.00
Cheese steak sandwhich the night before: $7.00
Taxi to U Penn: $22 w/ tip

Opening the letter to find out I was rejected one week later:

Love the school, hate the location (as some people love UCSF, but think the "urinesoaked streets of SF" to be unbearable)

Yep, let's just say that I left out quite a few other expenses as well:
1. Dry cleaning for suit
2. AM coffee & breakfast
3. Thank you note
4. Shipping and applications/LOR fees.
5. Rental car and parking

About $1000 to be dismissed in less than 3 business days.
I felt like Britney's ex-husband.

HARK! There is a small glimmer of hope here people...I ALMOST bought the UPenn t-shirt in the book store (hey, the interview went really well) - I refrained.

Hence, those slimy bastards can KEEP their 100% cotton, size x-large, pretentious, piece of crap! They'll never see my $17.99!!!

P.S. The t-shirts are made in sweat shops - notify the authorities.

Yup that's what i hate, put that in as an option!! UCLA- we do not give preference to California residents, but we do enjoy the money their family gives us through their taxes.
