I was complete mid Sept it took them a long time I sent them every thing in late Aug. Did you get in? I am oos. I really want to go to USC great school I have a lot of family in the area. so what are the odds? 1 to 3??? wish me luck😀

haha i havent heard anything from them and been complete since mid august (in-state). no clue what the odds are but definitely good luck!
Dr midnight- I'm bored, so I looked up the odds for USC for ya from my copy of the US News: as an OOS, 1732 applied, 138 got interviewed, and 80 were accepted!! Thats a solid 58%! Be in that percentage, then when you withdraw from Temple politely request that they take me off the waitlist 😉 G'luck!

WOW that is great thank you. I am on the east coast right now. I head home on Thurs. I just interviewed at WF and NYMC and on Wed I have Jeff. I am holding 4 acps right now. but if WF, Jeff or USC!!! comes thur I am dropping all 4 I will tell Temple the space is for you ok. But as of right now I will be going to Temple it is a great school. 😀

can anyone confirm that temple is interviewing only for waitlist now? how did you guys find out cause i just got an interview invitation today and it said nothing about waitlist, but if it is for the waitlist, i probably wont go (hey it ain't cheap to fly everywhere 🙁

you should ask Scowdeva he went to his interview and that is what they told him. He is wait listed.....I got in but am not sure where I am going yet?? I still have more interviews and a few I haven't heard from yet

Yep, I can confirm that Temple is for waitlist only. I interviewed back on Jan 17th, and they were already only interviewing for the waitlist. It's the first thing that the admissions lady presented to us during the welcome for the interview day, so it comes directly from Temple, no rumors and no heresay. This is a direct fact.
They only just filled the class, didn't overaccept 2 or 3 times like some schools do, so they are expecting lots of waitlist movement this year. This was in an attempt to not have an overacceptance fiasco like numerous schools did last year. If you are really interested, then you should go to the Temple interview. If it is a so-so school, and you already have an acceptance you like, then it's your call. I really liked Temple, and I want to work in an urban area so I feel like it'll prepare me really well. Hopefully, I get off the waitlist either in March or May...

The deadline for Submitting Supplemental Applications is December 1, 2007. Any Applicants receiving an invitation to complete the Supplemental Application AFTER November 15, 2007 need to contact the Office of Admissions at (323) 442-2552 to request a deadline extension. Applicants that do not request an extension via phone will not be able to submit the Supplemental Application.
I was complete beg of Sept and when I scheduled my interview they had very few spots left. They are done mid April and I scheduled April 8th only space left.

I got an interview with UIC set for mid-May (after I couldn't make the April 1 date they offered me. it's just as well... i'm not sure i'd want to do anything official on April fools day). anyway looks like there's still quite some time left.

Although they may be officially interviewing for waitlist only, unlike most schools Temple (I believe) does not over-enroll their class. As a result there is tons of movement on their waitlist so if you're interested in the school, I day go for it.
I wholeheartedly confirm this post. I loved Temple when I was there, and they said they don't overfill their class, so there is LOTS of waitlist movement once people start honing down their acceptances.
I have no idea, but you should try calling the admissions office and asking. It's been my experience that if you call at a non-peak time, and are really nice to them, they can be very helpful. G'luck finding out about MCW!!
