Has anyone heard of OT's working in abnormal/secretive places? I probably have high hopes but I sort of have a fantasy of working as an OT in top secret military bases guarded by black berets, like those portrayed in the x-files. But then again, wouldn't these places need OT's as well, for ergonomics? Where I live some OT's/COTA's work for clinics that contract out to Boeing, but i'm not sure if they actually enter the restricted areas that require security clearances. They probably just improve ergonomics and prescribe exercises..

If it has a hospital, or medical facility, then maybe. However, you don't be seeing much, because confidential information is on a need-to-know basis. It's also really hard to get a security clearance these days. Thousands of contractors are getting laid off and the military has issued a hiring freeze, as they are downsizing the military and cutting military spending. All contracting jobs opened to the public were canceled a few months ago. It's even harder to join the military now.
