During a time of "no war" where are Army Deployments? Can you take your family (or does that totally defeat the def. of deployment?) I'm just thinking the only places they could send you in non-war time would be places where your family could come as well?
Are deployments shorter in times of peace? If I were to volunteer for an overseas assignment like... umm Bulgaria and took my family (or my family followed)... would that decrease my chances or getting deployed from a forced family separation.
*If I was trying to avoid deployments at all cost I wouldn't have joined the military, that being said, anything that I can do to make things easier for my family would be good to know. I understand that once war hits-its a wildcard.
