On mods it says my current obligation is 4years but my total is 5 years. Why the difference?

On mods it says my current obligation is 4years but my total is 5 years. Why the difference?

Did you just get your orders to start internship? Internship incurs an additional year of obligated service, but then you pay it off during internship. So you should finish internship owing four years. I think.
