ARO conference in Phoenix--how hard is it to get an abstract?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I'm going to be submitting an abstract for the ARO conference in Phoenix. (I'm a medical student) How difficult is it to get an abstract accepted?

It's easy. I've seen plenty of med students with posters there. Just realize ARO is extremely biased towards hearing/inner ear/maybe vestibular research ..... there will be the occasional middle ear project. Any other topic is in the extreme minority. But that still doesn't mean it won't be accepted; if it does, it'll be that weird "off-topic" poster people mention. What's your research topic?

yeah it seems that way. I just realizes that this conference is more basic/translational based. I did a clinical project on lip biopsies (for Sjogren's). Any recommendations on what other conferences would be good for that?

something general like the academy (AAO-HNS) meeting coming up next week or COSM in the spring. maybe one of the Triological sectional meetings....try this website: http://www.triological.com/meetings.htm
