Funshine hate it or love it he speaks the truth... You asians have taken over medicine and science and, I dont think it is a good thing.At this rate there will be no spots left for good white men like myself in 50-60 years. Most of you asians are in it for the money and b/c your parents will disown you if you don't pursue medicine and you know it.

Just work and study harder than these "asians" then. Having higher standards will benefit everyone as a whole even tho it might hurt us (truthfully I wouldn't mind if medical admissions were easier but...oh well).

There are a few people who are constantly flaming others when it's not called for (I'm sure I don't need to point these people out), and I must ask why? Is it because you want others to know the "truth" and you want to "enlighten" them? Or are you that insecure about yourself?

I don't know if asians are "taking over" medicine and science. Even if they are, what's wrong with the competition? How can admit that other people are working harder than you and be upset with them rather than yourself? Oh well, just my $0.02. The cutting edge in technology is no longer entirely in white hands. Companies in South Korea are kicking ass when it comes to new microbiological techniques and new technologies. Innovation by asians don't get publicity. A lot of the agriculture in California was developed by asians but they'll neever teach you that in school.

education is just as much of a competition as sports. How ridiculous would it be for the NFL and NBA to balance out the black ORM by letting in slower people play? That would hurt the team, the fans and reduce the level of play to a lower level.

Or do you specifically LOOK for asian people at all your high school functions? When did being nerdy necessarily exclude you from attending your school homecoming/prom/football activities? First off, I never said that I did not see asians at highschool functions. I was refering to the kids in my calc class, not the asian community as a whole. Those same students all attend top colleges and will most likely become successful people. I do not hold any opinions against any race in general I was just pointing out in my opinion why the asian race is so successful in the academic area and medicine to be more specific. My best friend is asian and is far from a bookworm.
