I had a more specific question: I took Bio 2 at my primary institution but received a C- so I retook it at a local college, but their equivalent in terms of what was taught was bio 1

So on my app can I just lost it as bio 2 again?
list it exactly as it is written on the transcript

I took an online nitrous oxide class (for my dental assisting) through a university but I never enrolled in the college. I am wondering if I need to add this as one of my schools for my application (which would include getting a transcript even though I was never "enrolled"). It is called "continuing education hours." Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this!

If it is possible that it's on a transcript somewhere, get the transcript and enter it as a course on AADSAS. If there is no transcript and it's just a certification or something, I'd guess that you can leave it off

write exactly what's on your transcript

Thank you! Also, if you happen to know this, where should we place AP credits if they are on our transcripts but are not specified in a particular quarter? Should we create a new term or just stick them with our first term?

I think I just stuck mine in with my first term

If you have a question that probably doesn't need its own thread but you still want someone to answer it, ask it here! I'm sure many SDN folk will be happy to answer, and this way people will be able to see previous questions without searching through lots of old threads.
Questions can be super specific and there is no such thing as a dumb question here! Ask whatever you want, especially if it will calm your nerves about this cycle.
Have fun :writer:

P.S. Here's another informative thread for guidance! http://forums.studentdoctor.net/thr...7-application-cycle-and-the-universe.1197114/

ADEA AADSAS updated its system and no longer accepts paper ROL.
I have my ROL in my career center and the professor who I wrote me the letter left my shcool and I cannot no longer reach him.
Is there any way that I can send my LOR from my career center to AADSAS site through e-file?

I'm going on a mission trip in July. How do I list this in the volunteer section? It's a weeklong trip so I was thinking of listing both start and end dates as July 2016 and estimating the number of hours based on how long we will be there.

You don't list things you haven't completed.

If it's all ok with the career center, you could probably enter the name of the professor in AADSAS and use the career center's email address and have them upload it

I just wrote "X semesters" and put my university as the sponsoring organization.
So saying "Dean's List (5 semesters)" and then for the month and date, just put the first time I got it? I have gotten them consecutively besides my first semester so ever since May 2014.

Unrelated but I want to put down my school's president scholarship. It is a full scholarship so can I put "President's Scholarship (Full Tuition)" or should I leave out the full tuition part? Also would being part of Tri Beta (Bio honor society) count as an honor for this section? Thanks!

I just wrote no next to it, haha. It looked silly.

When entering grades, I took two classes that are "repeatable" where both count fully for my grade. Usually a class averages out, so if you took two credits twice you'd only get grades for those two credits.

So with my repeatable course that counts for my grade both semesters fully, do i still put repeated course under classification?
No

Quick silly question. When the app says "include on cover sheet," that item is NOT on it, and when it says "remove from cover sheet" that item IS on the cover sheet, correct? The person I had look over my app just made me super paranoid that I'm wrong.. forgive me for the stupid question. I figure today is the day to be neurotic
Yes. You're totally over thinking things. Deep breath!

I'd put "deans list" and then May 2014-present for the dates.
You could word that like "Full Tuition President's Scholarship" or just say "President's scholarship". I'm not familiar with Tri Beta but I guess you can put it if you'd like. If it's an organization you actually do stuff with, I'd put it in the extracurricular activities part

What exactly does including experiences on the coversheet mean? If we have three or less than three activities for each category, should we include all our activities on the coversheet?

How do I input classes with no grade? Just wondering. It was one of those optional classes that are only Pass or Fail but has no effect on the gpa. Leave them out?

Scroll down when your adding the grades. There are pass/fail options as well.

Can you change letter of recommendation evaluators after you e-submit the application?

How do I input the "grade" of an AP class I got credit for? All of my AP credits are on my transcript as "BE". And then I placed out of spanish when coming to college so that is on my transcript as "PL" but that isn't an option either...

My AP class was listed as "T" (transfered) on my transcript under grade, and AADSAS didn't have that option either. I researched a thread from last year (here, posts #7-10) and that person called ADEA AADSAS customer service in which they said to just put "CR" for credit. I assume you can do the same for "BE" but I'm not sure what "BE" even represents. You might want to call customer service yourself to seek what's best.

what am i supposed to include on the cover sheet, also is there a limit?

Solid yeah idk what BE represents either, but I'll call tomorrow. I called today for something else and their phones were offline because they said they had too high of call volume and couldn't respond to anyone. Hopefully tomorrow will be better

When inputing Total Hours for say a community service activity that is still ongoing, do you put the total hours accumulated thus far?

Did anyone else use Credentials Transcript service online to request transcripts be sent to AADSAS? It was strange. They required you enter what was listed under the barcode, but the service said you had to put a T instead of a P in one of the designated lines. It also said they would create the attached sheet. I went with it because the ADEA and Credentials are synced, but it was still weird, and I'm wondering if it will go through.

I want to make one of those obnoxious, 1998 geocities style flashing gifs that says "write it exactly as it appears in your transcript" and post it everywhere on the predent forum.
As long as people are posting it in this thread instead of making new threads about it, I will happily answer that question all day long 🙂

If you are entering a summer session for a college term would that term type be "unit" or "semester"?

Go by whatever type of schedule your university goes by normally. The summer classes are meant to be the same experience but a condensed schedule.

Wow im in a pickle. According to my transcript Bio 1 and Bio 2 both shown under spring term. BUT I know for sure I took bio 2 in the summer. HOWEVER, I looked at my class description on my school portal and It listed it as spring as well. Wouldnt adcoms be curious How I took both courses during the same term?
Should I go by my transcript or do I risk having my transcript process go longer because they wont find any summer sessions.

I'd call the university and ask about that lol

Im gonna just put it as spring. If the adcoms ask i'll let them know, no big deal. 24 credits in 1 semester lol.....I doubt my community college is going to help. I bet their lazy asses didnt bother seperating the sessions at all.

My 4 year on the other hand actually lists things as summer/winter etc etc.

how long is it gonna take for my dat to get onto my app....

since i just took it it should be quite a bit right...?

So there is a portion for re-applicants asking which schools you applied to in previous cycles and which year. So I'm not sure if I list it as 2015 (last year) or the 2016 cycle?

Question 2: "If yes, what has changed since your last application?"
Should I do bullet points or use complete sentences.

how do I change the grade or add new classes to the "coursework" section? I have all my classes transferred from previous cycle but it won't let me edit or change anything. It made me add the school again to add new classes but that school is already in the list of "colleges attended" then why the f is it not letting me add new term or make any changes to previous grade? Also I can't see transcript matching form, is it because since they already have it from previous cycle they don't need it again? gotta call tomorrow morning

I printed, signed, scanned, and then sent to the registrar as a PDF
Soooo....I keep getting a weird file type when I try to print the form. What did you do to print the stinkin' form??? Or am I just awful at computers for getting a cgi file?

For those who have at least one W on their transcript, what did you put for the number of credit hours? It says "hours ATTEMPTED" so I put the number of hours for that withdrawn class, but according to the thread below, AADSAS changed it to 0 hours attempted.

http://forums.studentdoctor.net/thr...-that-i-withdrawn-from.1082502/#post-15411480

I can't speak for what's right, but I can speak for what I did because I have a W on my transcript as well. I just put 0 under credits attempted, because it makes sense. If you didn't take the class, you don't get the credit.

I'm seeing a lot of people put CR for their AP classes. It is advisable to input the score (1-5) that you got on the test in the "Grade" section and then None for the AADSAS grade? That is how it is listed on my transcript- with the score and the number of hours.

"Official transcripts should be sent to ADEA AADSAS Transcript Processing Center at P.O. Box 9110, Watertown, MA, 02471. If using express mail, send to ADEA AADSAS Transcript Processing Center c/o Liaison International, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA, 02472."

which address should I have transcripts sent to.... lol

On the transcript matching form it says "Former Name Used...". You don't have to fill that out if you've had the same name correct?

Also, "Dates of Attendance" is it okay to put your expected graduation date and in brackets (anticipated)?
