So, will the LOR request be sent when I submit or once my application is verified?

Also, it says we can submit a committee letter and 1 additional letter. Is the additional letter a requirement?

Sent from my iPhone using SDN mobile

When you open the application, you enter in email addresses for your letters. Then you click a button and the program sends an email to that address explaining how to upload the letter. You don't have to submit your whole application or wait for verification for this to happen. You can do it immediately.

Additional letter is not a requirement

do reapplicants have to submit all transcripts again? I thought I read somewhere that aadsas doesn't keep transcripts, but my application (i am reapplicant) shows the transcripts received from last year.

I don't think we do because I just went through it and like you said my past transcripts are there. Though I have classes from this spring so I don't think it'd matter anyways since i'll have to send my whole transcript

yeah in your case it wont matter, but i'm just paranoid since I will not be resubmitting transcript. It would suck if they emailed me way after I E-sbumit saying they need transcript x_x

What do I put for my race? This sounds stupid but im Iranian/Persian. Does that go Asian and then fill other or do I put white?

For the part of the application asking about manual dexterity, is it dumb to put something you used to do in the past but don't do anymore? For example, I took a year of ceramics in high school, and I also played an instrument in the past. Basically how long ago is too long ago?

Don't overthink it, but probably better to list things you still do.

Hi, what is the dentpin confirmation? I already have my dentpin but the application is asking for a confirmation? Does anybody know where to get that?

If I plan on leaving my research position in August, should I put the number of hours I will have completed by August or the number of hours I already have completed?

For an extra curricular, if I've had multiple positions in the same organization, can I put separate entries?

For Canadian applicants - how do I calculate credits? For my university - 1.0 credits is one full year course with lab or without lab and 0.5 credits is a half year course, with lab or without lab.
Help!

Does anyone mind posting the breakdown of what classes count for what when determining to choose between science and non-science

I attended a foreign institution therefore my transcript is in spanish. However it has been evaluated by The Educational Credential Evaluators and it has been translated and given a US equivalency. When Im entering my courses it says type in exactly like it appears on your transcript. Should I type in the english translations (exactly as it appears on my official equivalency) or type in the courses in spanish?

In English..

I'm inputing grades right now but not sure what they mean:
"CONVERT the grade on your transcript to the correct standardized letter grade. Check the grading scheme on your transcript to determine the equivalent letter grade. If a non-graded course (e.g., Pass/Fail), select None"

So if I have a B- on transcript they want me to input B on "ADEA AADSAS Grade" ????

Or is it for colleges that don't give out letter grades?

I'm being told that my DENTPIN doesn't exist... Anyone know why this is? It definitely does exist and have used it to register for DAT.

Do you get notified when your official DAT scores are uploaded? I took mine on May 19 so I'm expecting it to go up sometime between June 16-June30. All I entered on the DAT section was the month and year I took the test.

No, you do not get notified.

I took mine on May 25 and was wondering the same thing

PS for reapplicants, the info transfer takes "1-2 hours" from your last app so create your reapplicant profile ASAP so you're not stuck waiting like I am.... :bang:
did you log out and back in?
Mine was all up once I logged back in right after creating it

If I took a summer course at another university and transferred that course to my main university transcript, how would I input that grade in aadsas? Input it twice under the different universities ( like make sure the GPA is only counted for one time and credit the other?)

Also, if I took a research seminar at my university that is in the college seminar department, this wold be counted as non-science, right?

Im sure this has been asked but I cant find a definitive answer in the forums. My grades gave not been finalized for the FALL/Winter 2015/2016 year and I know I should wait until they are, and then ask for my transcripts . However, do I submit my application now and send them my transcripts when they are finalized (end of june) or do I NOT submit until grades are finalized and I ask for transcript?

Thanks!

You would only input that course/grade for the university you took it at, and then send your transcript from that university as well. While it might show on your main university's transcript, you don't put it as a course taken there on aadsas

So I'm entering my AP/IB courses. I've included them in my first term section and am just marking them with their numeric score and "None" for the AADSAS grade and the credit numbers awarded. However, my school doesn't break down the IB classes I took like they do the AP, so I have an IB diploma listed as 30 credit hours. The max number of hours for the menu is 20. Should I just put 20? Alternatively, should I just enter my IB scores from my diploma even though they aren't on my transcript?

1. I'm entering my high school name, but I'm running out of characters. How did people resolve this issue?

2. For colleges attended, if you're currently enrolled in grad school but haven't graduated yet, do you put the "anticipated" attendance dates?

What does the line on the transcript matching form mean that says: "Is this form being submitted because of your grade change on your transcript?" There isn't even a line to answer that question so do we just write "No" next to it?

Probably splitting hairs over this... I am filling in my "college" information and for one of my universities, I did receive a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Under "degree awarded," there is a B.S. option and R.D.H. option, which one do I choose? I know many RDH's have an Associates rather than a Bachelor's, so I wanted to denote appropriately. Thanks!

I just wrote no next to it, haha. It looked silly.

When entering grades, I took two classes that are "repeatable" where both count fully for my grade. Usually a class averages out, so if you took two credits twice you'd only get grades for those two credits.

So with my repeatable course that counts for my grade both semesters fully, do i still put repeated course under classification?

Hello everyone, last year I applied and used to paid coursework option (which I do not recommend to anyone! TONS of mistakes). Regardless, they made a lot of mistakes involving credit hours, subject designations, etc which they never fixed and I am wondering if I use the reapplication tool instead of making a new account do those same courses get transferred in and locked? If they do I would rather enter them all in myself so that there are not any of the old errors.

Just to confirm what I have heard before, it does not matter if I apply now or middle July, since I take my DAT mid July? Does ASDAS send the app to my desired schools? and does the admissions committee would not look at my app until my scores come in?

If anyone could clear some of my confusion I would really appreciate it!

I'm entering my coursework and I have a question about AP/transfer credits. On my transcript, there's a section specifically for transfer credit. My university puts the credit received from AP tests there (in my case, 9 English credits and 4 Math credits) but they don't list it as AP. It lists it as transfer credit.

I don't want to list the credits as AP since that's not what it says on my transcript, but I don't have another institution to select to imply that they're transfer credits. I hope this makes sense. How would I list these classes?

No. Apply NOW. You want schools to only be waiting on your scores. They won't look at your application without them.

If my major is Biology with a concentration in Pre-Dentistry, do I put "biology" or "pre-dental" for my major?🤔
