Is it worth delaying my application by a few weeks for 1 class from a community college? My finals on the 14th, and I want to include it in my application since I'm a reapplicant. If I don't wait, I can most definitely be in the first batch. What do you guys think?

I'm inputting my coursework and I've come across a couple courses I'm not 100% sure what subject to label them as. The classes are....

BIOL 4110-Senior Seminar
BIOL 4280-Undergrad Research in Biology
BIOL 4720-Animal Development

I'm about 99% sure they should all be labeled as Biology classes; but, I was looking at the list they provide on what classes fall under each subject and all of these subjects aren't on there. However, the list does include Human Development but it's classified as a Non Science. I'm thinking it's just classified there because Human Development is generally a Health Science course and not a Biology course.

What do y'all think?

On the transcript matching form it says "Former Name Used...". You don't have to fill that out if you've had the same name correct?

Also, "Dates of Attendance" is it okay to put your expected graduation date and in brackets (anticipated)?
1. Leave it blank if you dont have a former named
2. Yes.

What is your Senior Seminar? If it's something bio-related, then it's Bio.
And I think all of those courses are considered science

If it helps your GPA, wait a little doesnt hurt.
If it doesnt do much for GPA, you can submit. There will be an academic update later on the year for you to update your grade too.

Did AADSAS get rid of the option to use Interfolio to request letters?
I remember before there was an option to request the letter using "paper-mail" in which you can print the matching form and include it as a PDF with the interfolio delivery. But now, it doesn't give an option to submit it using the "paper-mail"?

I THINK I read on here earlier that the instructions were changed, there might be a link somewhere on these news threads...

I've looked on ADEA but no specific instructions for Interfolio... I guess I will call them tomorrow!

I'm in the exact situation. Grades won't be in transcript for another 2.5 weeks. I'm not sure if my grade will change much even with the 4.0's since I have over 180 credits already.

Soooo....I keep getting a weird file type when I try to print the form. What did you do to print the stinkin' form??? Or am I just awful at computers for getting a cgi file?
Yeah it was a weird file format but I was able to "save as" and get it in a pdf to open in Adobe Acrobat

I just used interfolio earlier today. Had a letter sitting in my dosier. Made a request on AADSAS except the teacher's email was the one interolfio told me to use. AADSAS got the letter a few hours after I paid the 4 bucks to interfolio
You didn't request updated letters?

You didn't request updated letters?
I had my teacher make it in late April (my class with him finished in february) and it was sent out to interfolio in the lame duck period between school ending and waiting for the application to open. The letter is current but wanted it finished sooner rather than later

for course subject is math non-science or other science?

Hey, could anyone please clarify>

when adding the coursework:

Summer I --- would that be summer A?
Summer II ---- would that be summer B?

if so, under which classification could I put a class taken during summer C?

Also, I took English comp 2 in Spring term for 8 weeks, would that be interim?

Thank you!

I had this question too, heres what I found: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/summer-i-and-ii-difference.634961/
I downloaded the 2010 guide and saw the same thing but couldn't find it in this year's so not 100% confident.....

Same boat as you. I took a class in Summer III / C but there is no option. I just left mine as Summer II

I took a couple IB courses during my senior year of high school that allowed me to earn college credit through my local community college. When I look at the transcript from the community college for those IB credits, it doesn't say IB next to it, it just lists the course the same as any other course taken from that institution. So should I select the "special programs" "International baccalaureate" when I enter in the credit I received from those classes into AADSAS ?

Side note: One punch man doe. lol

Yes

Does anyone know if we still have to fill out the Letter of Evaluation Matching Form? My friend who applied last year told me about it but I can't find it on the application..

For the "Professional Experience" section of the application, in what chronological order did you list them? From oldest to newest or newest to oldest? Or does the order even matter that much...?

If it really mattered it would say so.

If the transcript lists your classes in CAPS, do you list it that way on AADSAS? and if a separate transcript lists them in lowercase, follow that way for that course as well? lol

If i took a writing class thats under physical sciences, would that be classified as "english" or "other science"???

I would list it exactly as the transcript has it. Caps and all.

When entering course work, it says to enter it exactly as it appears on transcript. What if there are abbreviations on the transcript, is that the way we enter it? For example for evolution, on the transcript it says: "Evol. & Populat Bio"

For the last time: enter in your courses EXACTLY as they appear on your transcript. Get a copy to have in front of you. You guys are going to be doctors; you can read directions.
I actually called ADEA and they said either full course title name or the abbreviated way it appears on the transcript.

Do you need to post AP credits under coursework? The AP credits were transferred to my college and show on my transcript but the classes are history and psychology.

If i do need to list them how would I go about doing so? Do I list them under my college and what term would I even put them under?

I had a 4.0 grade under my AP Stats class on my transcript. I called AADSAS up, they said put 4.0 in the grade and convert it manually to the AADSAS grade from your transcript rubric conversion chart thingy. So for me: 4.0 Grade and A for AADSAS grade.

once you add the evaluators and submit the app then can you change or add different request for LOR?

where is course subject fact sheet? it gives me 404 error whenever I click on it on the instructions page

nevermind got it

If I want to enter an AP course which I received credit for at the college I attended, how do I enter it? I took the course in 2008 in high school, and it won't let me enter that since I technically didn't start undergrad til 2011

I put them in under the my first university term. Only put it in if it's listed on your transcript though
