Is there a way to say which schools get which letters of recommendation? Indiana only accepts academic letters, so none from dentists. How do I make sure they don't get the letter a dentist wrote for me?

they will get the letter. They just won't read it. So it's not a big issue. You don't get to pick and choose who gets what. Whatever you put up is what every school will get.

If my transcript just lists my AP courses as "AP Chemistry", what would the Course Prefix and Number be?

For the Awards, Honors, Scholarships should I just enter one date For the Dean's List that I got it? I don't see an option to enter different dates.

Under the Childhood Residence section of the "Disadvantaged Status" tab, it asks for a description of your hometown. Is this meant to describe the area you grew up in if it wasn't "the best area" or are they looking for a description of your town no matter what?

Should I put the end date of a EC as May 2017 if I will still hold the position this coming year? Or just stick with the end of this school year (May 2016)?

Thanks!

I already e-submitted, but wanted to know if my committee at my university can still upload their letter even after I e-submitted? I already filled out the evaluator section before e-submitting and made sure they got the email link to upload. Thing is, they won't finish committee letters until early July. They'll be able to still upload my letter even after I e-submitted right?

Yes..

Only if you are considered disadvantaged. If you are not, then don't put anything

If it won't let you say "AP chemistry", put it how your university designations chemistry courses and make sure you designate it as AP

If I do not consider myself disadvantaged, should I still fill out the non-required question in that section of the application or would this look bad? I want to fill out the part about how much of my education I paid for, but will this look like I can't follow directions?

Under professional experience, does it matter what order we list our activities? I listed them from oldest to newest but I read on one of the forums that it's supposed to be by importance...? any ideas?

also, I'm really confused on what to put under academic enrichment programs. I was selected for a leadership development program at my school and I don't have any other place to put it on my application so can it go under academic enrichment?

Would it look bad if I still answered the financial questions even if I marked "no"? Thank you.
It might be confusing to the person reading your application . I don't know if it would look bad.

If I was part of the pre-dental club can that be included in extracurricular activities? How many hours would I put?

You should definitely include it. I think the section extracurricular/community service/volunteer right? I just don't know what you'd write for the hours.
Yeah, i'll just approximate the hours. Thanks for the help.

If i volunteered at the same 5k event 3 different times how would I put it? Like I did it in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Should I put on the start date 2012 and end date 2014?

Bit of a specific situation here -- if I'm applying currently but planning on taking a summer course later in the summer at a school I have never attended before, should I include that as one of my institutions attended? I'm leaning towards yes, but I'm a bit concerned that they would expect a transcript to be sent in for the school. That wouldn't be possible, since I haven't even started the course yet. Thanks y'all!

If it's in planned courses and you haven't taken it yet, I don't see why they'd expect a transcript.

If i competed in multiple basketball leagues should I only put one on the extracurricular activites or a few of them to finish the 10 max requirement?

I'm in the same situation. I listed it down but put it as planned. I'm pretty sure the app will be complete without it but we should send the transcripts after the courses are complete

One of the dental schools that I'm applying to suggests about 200 shadowing hours, and I called to ask if it is okay to include high school shadowing and the person said yes and that I could include it on the app. However, as per the instructions by AADSAS, one cannot include high school experiences in this section. I am torn about whether I should include it or not. I have 120 hours from college. Would other schools look down upon it?

Don't include it. I don't know who that person is but 120 hours of standing around vs 200 hours of standing around? Dunno how an extra 80 helps.

I don't think it'd be looked down upon. Some schools simply may not count it, though.

If I earned a national certification for tutoring where should I list this in the Professional Experience section? I have already listed tutoring under the "work" subsection but am not sure about where to include the certification.

For the Academic Enrichment section:
Can I put being adult and pediatric first aid/CPR/AED certified under there?
Also, I'm a member of my university's Honors College...would this count for academic enrichment or should I just save it for my PS?

For cpr I'd say yes if you have enough space and the honors college id save for the ps I think but you may want someone else's opinion on that too

Opinions: do you think it helps or hurts if you have a dentist family member?
