Hello everyone!

Wanted to ask your collective thoughts on asking for "in-the-area" interviews of medicine prelims? I read somewhere that if you were offered an advanced position at the institution, you have a better chance of asking for a prelim interview, but I applied to 2 prelim programs in the same town so I'd like to interview for both in one trip if possible. Plus I have far fewer prelim interviews than advance program interviews! Is this wise or even kosher? Any other thoughts on getting for prelim interviews?
