I got my interview request from Auburn yesterday andI have looked around for Auburn's statistics on how many people that are offered interviews actually get in. I couldn't find anything on this only applicants-->acceptance rates. Does anyone know where these are located? Thanks

congrats on the interview invite!

auburn has about 35 seats for alabama residents, 35 seats for ky contract applicants, and around 2-5 seats for WV contract students.

these numbers vary every year based on contracts with ky/wv and funding.

as far as how many they accept (as far as accepting OVER the number of seats they have), it's not many. the tend to not over accept, but instead place people on the waitlist.

are you alabama, ky, wv? i can ask the numbers they have for this cycle if you'd like, and let you know how many seats they have for each.

good luck! i hope you enjoy your interview experience. if you have any questions, i'd be happy to help if i can!

Thanks, I am an alabama resident and I noticed other schools would post how many interviews they put out and how many of those interviews actually got accepted. Auburn is pretty much my 1st choice and I was wondering what kind of odds I was looking at now that I have made it past the hardest part

i will definitely ask and let you know. i'll find out how many alabama residents they are interviewing, that might help you out. 🙂 b/c the number of seats for AL residents tends to stay very close to the same every cycle. good luck!!

also, if you haven't checked out the interview feedback on this forum, i highly recommend it. it was very helpful when preparing for the interview. IS has a very good interview panel. you should feel very comfortable with them. if you have any additional questions that i can help with, let me know.

I have looked at the interview site several times. It's good to know that the IS panel is good and "comfortable." I have been up there before and talked with Kaye and other staff members and I agree with everyone that everyone there is exceptionally friendly. Do you know of anyone there doing the military HPSP to help pay for the tuition and such?

Thanks for the help!

Three of my classmates went to complete the physical a few weeks ago. I don't know any additional information but can ask them questions if you have any.

Did they do ROTC as an undergrad? And how long did the application process take?
