Audio Osmosis Notes?

Anyone have notes that were taken from the Audio Osmosis CD's? I just got the CD's and I need something to read along with it so that my mind doesn't drift.

How closely do the books match the CDs?

the cd's go lecture by lecture through all the books. they cover the main topics discussed in each lecture.

I just need something to read so my mind won't drift while listening to the cd's, I was taking notes but with time running out it not really productive at this point.

well, i think that they talk too fast in Audio Osmosis to actually sit down and take notes on it. I think it's better for just listening to it to reinforce what you've learned in the EK lectures. It really helps if you have the book set.

It follows the books quite well. Sometimes when I was sick of reading I would open the book and listen to the CDs. I only did this for reviewing chapters I had previously studied. If you need them for the April MCAT it may be kind of late to try to order books.

some things are better explained on the CD and some things are better explained in the book so they complement each other rather well.

Yea, It's seems like all of the local bookstores are out of stock and so are there websites.

I'm sorry I can't help, but really: Exam Krackers suck. I used that Audio Osmosis thing for a year and it was a waste of TIME and money. I think they just feed into typical pre-med paranoia to make a profit with substandard products.

You're better off doing your own practice by finding out exactly where your weak areas (content-wise) are on the exam and focus on that at this point. And flash cards for formulas and small things are good, too. Much better than listening to Audio Osmosis.

why don't you just take notes on the topics you are weak on. hopefully it amounts to only a handful and you could do that in an 8 hour study session or less. Don't let the fact that you did not use certain study material stress you out.

If I knocked on your door and gave you complete notes on Audio Osmosis this very second you would not have time to go over them very well. We are talking 4 subjects of material.

I think audio osmosis is great, but not as a study guide. It's great because you can listen to it in the car and when they start talking about something you don't know well, you take note and go back and cover it. Once you feel comfortable with a section you can play it and it will keep stuff fresh in your head.

But I mostly listen to it for the great jokes.
