Audition rotations - all away?

If your school doesn't have a EM residency but does have an available rotation for you to rotate through the ED should you do it there?

I'm in this position but found alternatives at places I'd consider a warm-up for other rotations. The only caveat is this would put the total number of EM rotations I do around 3 (all at other institutions).

do your first EM rotation at your home school, lack of a residency might be a good thing for you
