TheProwler said:average MCATs are higher at a lot of those schools according to the new MSAR. Most top schools average a 35. GPA wavers a bit more. Mayo was a 3.9
they have a miniscule school, so you'd better be exactly what they're looking forDetectiveChubby said:a 3.9?!!? 😱
That was my top choice. This really sucks!
The stats are quite low, for many schools they are .5-1.5 low per section, which means 1.5-4.5 overall! That certainly is significant.jbm44 said:Those stats hold alot of wait with residency programs, more so than U.S. News ranking, from everything that I have heard.
Those stats look pretty good too.wowzer said:also check out www.theprincetonreview.com. I'm not sure how recent these numbers are, but they are also good indicators and also talk about hte mcat breakdwon, class size, other important tidbits of info.
I think that they didn't report it or something and it defaulted to 3.0mR LaZy said:the princeton site says northwestern is at 3.0?!
