Away rotations

this may be a weird question but it did spawn some discussion today:

To what extent are away rotations 'audition rotations' vs just classes taken at another school?

If you're looking to apply to and interview with the institution you are doing the away rotation at, then it's an audition! Otherwise (if you have no intention of applying there) I guess you could consider it "experience at another school" and not an audition.

It’s great how some places charge DO students thousands of dollars on top of the same students having to also pay tuition for that experience.

Fortunately I didn’t have to pay double tuition but if other students had to then that’s exploitation
