B in FM rotation?

So my school has a stupid letter grade for rotations. A, B and C. Everyone liked me at my rotation (or so they keep telling me), no critique mentioned on the evals at all, nothing else but yet a B. I am so pissed. What does a B mean anyway? Other school have Pass vs honors ... wtf is a B?

A B is equivalent to a High Pass in the Pass/HP/Honors system. You're fine.

Is that how residency programs usually look at it? At my school I believe it's possible to get an A and not get honors. Honestly I wish there would be one standardized system.

No idea. At our school, it's P/HP/H, but they perfectly correlate with C/B/A.

why do people complain about the ABC system if its basically the same (as you make it) as P/HP/H? Just different terms are used

Probably because they were so used to anything less than an A in undergrad being a "bad grade." HP feels impressive, B feels like you didn't try hard enough.

Yea Pass doesnt seem that bad compared to a C
