What books/resources do you guys give to parents to help them learn about/cope with their child's early development? I feel like I spend a lot of time telling people what is and is not normal for their kid at a given age, I would like it if, at least for the more edicated patient, I could give them something to read.

I LOVE Baby 411. I learned a ton myself too that has helped me in my well child checks answering all those "normal baby" questions. it's very readable too.

Very comprehensive, covers birth to age 5 in a very readable fashion-- even as a pediatrician I used it often for random development questions with regards to my own kids.
