Does nothing to make me want to change my vote. If you're a sketchy village blocker, sorry, but that role is wolfy more often than not and combined with your weird statements I still want to know the answer.

If she does flip scum, I think we should think about whether her presented events make sense. If wolves did think STL was a seer, killing him ASAP makes sense... but holding off and blocking him makes sense too, and would explain the single kill n1.

(Can we tell from my various "if sketch, then..." that I'm frustrated by the thread immediately being locked at night? Lol).

Whoa. Lol


The blocker usually picks puerile they ar suspicious of if they don't have more info. IF there is no kill the ight they block someone that could very well mean they blocked the wolf kill and it sort of "confirms" they are a wolf.

This is not them really calling you a wolf per se. But that they were supposedly suspicious of you enough that day.

Now. Given that. You have to suss out the specific person's choices or if they are even telling the truth about being the blocker etc
 
I basically agree with what everyone else has been saying. The role reveal doesn't seem genuine to me, and those targets definitely seem odd. There's quite a few others I'd be blocking if I had that role before I blocked KC or Doc-S. Especially with conversations during the day involving in depth discussions of who we think are the wolves.

Also I find it weird that with an entire day of discussion left, Zen chose to role reveal that early. I mean yes, she said she's tried to defend herself to no avail but I'd be defending a lot more if I were a role-villager. Throw out other people who might be wolves, lay out all the theories etc etc so at least if you got lynched, it gives things for other people to think about later. But outing herself so early she's either lynched tonight by the village or if she's telling the truth and isn't a wolf, the wolves will kill her overnight for being a power role anyway.

Not sure if that makes any sense because I am very tired, but I just don't buy that role reveal at the time it was revealed.

That in combination with the other arguments I listed last night, I will actually place my lynch vote.

For me it feel like I am voting Jil or Zen today, then the other tomorrow. Not sure if it matters the order honestly. I wouldn't mind pushing Zen closer toward plurality, but I'll give everybody a chance to see the role reveal. So for now

Agree with everyone who's already posted. Even if I was suspicious of kc and DrS, it's not like they were some of the sketchier people who I would go for first based on discussions those days. Actually they were coming up village for most people. Since kc was being quieter and DrS was pretty strong village, it is more likely she thinks they have a power role and the blocked them.
 
I'm also willing to change my vote if people are fine with plurality.

Meh. I wouldn't stress about the terminology. If it seems like a realistic role claim and the way she used it seems appropriately village, vote jil. I just think it would give us a nice amount of info if Zen does flip wolf and she has been uber uber sketchy in her defense.

If Zen flips wolf, I'm 100% certain on my Jil vote next cycle. If Jil flips wolf, I feel a smidge more confident in my Zen vote but nothing as outright.

This totally confused me. It just seems a little too complicated of a theory. I mean, I guess I could see STL having an in-depth strategy to find a wolf, but this came off a bit as Jil grasping for straws about why STL wanted to lynch her. Then again we know STL was neutral, so maybe it really was just a random lynch meant to get people guessing and draw speculation away from himself.

Please try to see things from my perspective. I know my theory is crazy and I may be wrong, but I know that I'm not a wolf. I firmly believe STL made the whole "tell" thing up because none of what he quoted is out of the ordinary for me in any game. He was definitely up to something nefarious and given his alignment it makes sense to me that he would do something crazy. I'm not sure why he picked me, I wish I did, I also wish I knew what his plan was (I almost said I wish I knew what he was thinking, but no, that's one head I don't desire to see inside of 😛). I don't really know what else to say about that. I get kind of crazy when I'm a constant lynch target as a villager.

Also, I agree zen is being super weird between the odd defense for being quiet and now the role claim. I know what she means by villager blocker, but I'm not sure I believe the claim. Certainly there were other people she could have chosen to block that were better options, especially since most people had DrS in the likely villager category. I will likely vote that way, but I think we are close to plurality and I'd rather we had the rest of the day to discuss as I feel discussion helps villagers.

P.S. My class schedule is pretty intense right now so I'm typically not on until the evening, but I think I've been participating a lot during those times though. The only reason I'm on now is because our professor didn't show up. :bored:

I had a rule when I first started playing that I'd lynch anyone who outright complimented me... it was actually fairly good at catching wolves. However it was very, very dickish to the poor villagers it entrapped, lol.

I don't have anything concrete on Zen, just a couple of people and feels for weird posting. Jilary I feel has been rambling a bit, which while is not quite wolfy, because I have done that as well, is rather defensive. Zen is still suspicious to me, so I don't mind if others still want that lynch. I just feel stronger about the Jilary lynch right now.

I don't buy blocking Doc-S because her posting style felt weird. If you look at the Noob Circus game, that's just literally how she always posts. Yes, it confused many of us, and we did eventually lynch her for it. And she was a villager.

I think Doc-S just has a very different way of seeing/thinking about the game haha

Yeah I think this is bull. You were a mentor in the last noob game and followed along with everyone being weirded out by Dr-S' posting style.
 
I didn't really think about Zen being a mentor in that game and almost thought maybe she just wasn't used to Dr. S's posting style. Good to know @Trilt

I like 90% believe that STL actually thought he found a tell and was jumping on it. It's absolutely something he would do, and he did admonish the other wolves. (including Jil) for early enthusiasm in the Pokemon game so it's not just a made up thing recently.

Zensing, I believe you are mistaken. My posts have been straightforward and I do not understand the reason why you would say I have been drawing weird conclusions in this game.

By the way:

If you are referring to me (i.e., Doctor-S) in your post above (and not to kcoughli), I think you need to read ALL of my posts since last Friday.

I did not say I thought "whomever Lyra jailed must be a villager."

Glad to see I'm not the only one who is not appeased at all by Zen's reveal. I'm not usually one to push for lynching blockers because I do think they can be useful late game, but in this case I think the odds are greater she's wolf than that she's village. And I find her justification for the Doc S choice very suspect, for the reasons trilt already talked about. People had been listing their suspects all day, would have made more sense to pick someone who people were feeling was sketch than someone who, at least every time I saw she was mentioned, was leaning village, and has essentially been posting the same way she posted in the noob game, minus the owl stuff.

Ostensibly a neutral just wants to survive. So they don't want to be too cleared (thus, a wolf target) or too sketchy (thus lynched). Usually they just lay kinda low. However, STL has a flair for hyperbole and exuberance so you have to adjust slightly for that. 😛

I would have still been mildly suspicious of him (if still alive) even if Jil flipped wolf (I think I even said such) just because bussing a fellow wolf is totally something he'd do. So "clearing" himself that way wouldn't even necessarily damn him. He's always baseline sketchy.

But then he died. Which was weird considering the suspicions he was under, and why I reeaaallly want to know (via Zen lynch) if it was because the wolves thought he as a seer.

Re:WIFOM - yah, always I suppose, but I try not to stress about it.

Re: Zen - this post. If Zen flips wolf, read that as someone who knows Jil is a wolf and working off that knowledge. Maaaaaybe not 100%, but like 95%+?
