I sent deposit to two schools and both school using Certiphi screening inc for the background check.
I was wondering if you could receive two background check e-mail.
I already have received background check email and I don't know which school has sent it.
Should I wait or just start doing this background check.

Actually, one is for the background check, the other is for the drug screen. So both emails are for all the schools you've applied to using PharmCas. PharmCas sends it out to the schools that request them. As you see, both will require payment. Good luck! 🙂

As far as I know, just accept the email and do it. Once done and in the system, the other schools can get your info automatically from there. I was accepted to a school in October for which I completed the background check form, but I withdrew later on when I got other acceptances. I have not received any background check emails from other schools. I also had to talk to Certiphi screening people on the phone because the school accidentally sent me two emails for the background check and I was getting emails from Certiphi saying I have not completed the check yet and they will be letting my school know of this issue... At any rate, when I spoke with them on the phone, they had told me that completing it once is enough and other schools then get the info from there.

Some schools require the drug screen but not many. All require the background check. For example, I had to do the drug screen for SUNY-UB but not for Ohio State.

yes drug screen is separate but both are via Certiphi.

Hey. Actually... I ended up getting a repeat email about this exact thing. I got the first and did the bkgd chk and drg scrn and after about 2 weeks got another email about it. When I contacted Certiphi they basically said you do it once and any schools that use the system will see your pass/fail info on both. But some schools do not use Certiphi so you will have to shell out the fee all over again.
