So I submitted my background check on 1/5. It is now 1/20 and it isn't complete yet. Anyone else's taking this long? Anything to worry about? I swear I've never committed a crime.

These things generally take between 2 and 3 weeks. After 15 business days, then perhaps you should worry.

So I submitted my background check on 1/5. It is now 1/20 and it isn't complete yet. Anyone else's taking this long? Anything to worry about? I swear I've never committed a crime.
I submitted mine on 1/6. Just finally got mine completed today. I have a clean report so don't worry about the wait time (although it can be a little unnerving). The delay is probably from Certiphi waiting to hear back from your local state court.

I submitted mine on the 5th and still have not heard anything. I definitely have a clean record but lived in Canada for several years. Maybe that is what's holding things up. Do they send you an email when it's completed?
