Hey,
I just sent out my application this week, with the coursework of this past Spring 15' semester as "In Progress" because my grades were not up yet. However, I just found out I'm ending up with a C- in Biochemistry. Until now my lowest grades were a B- in Physics and Orgo, and two other B's. Most of my grades have been A's, with GPA of 3.68(not including the C-).
Will the C- be acceptable for most Dental Schools? Or will I need to retake it??

(Forgot to mention, my Transcript was already sent to Aadsas without the C- in Biochem, if that makes a difference.)

Yeah you'll need to retake it IF the school requires it as a prerequisite. You'd also need to retake it if it was a required course for your major.

Thanks for answering, but..
What is lowest grade that is not considered failing for a Dental School? For my school C- is not a fail!
You're saying Nobody gets in with a C- in a science class??

What your school considers passing is irrelevant for the purpose of admissions. You generally need a C or above in your prerequisite courses for them to be considered complete.
