This is my first message here. I completed my 3rd year and I'm planning on applying to DO and MD schools. My MCAT score is 511 and GPA is 3.65. I've gotten 2 pretty bad grades this year:
1.
Microbial genetics with C - semester 1
2.
Molecular Genetics of Eukaryotes with D- - semester 2
As these are not prerequisite courses, how bad would they affect my chances? Should I retake Molecular Genetics of Eukaryotes? If I retake, I'll have to wait an additional year to apply 🙁
