If you took out loans for opt school and the bank went bankrupt, do you still have to pay back the loans? Look at all the banks that have failed!
 
I don't think that's the way it works, but I'm no economist, so what do I know.
 
Yes, you still have to pay back the loans. The loans you had at EdSouth (or whatever other bank) are passed on to another financial institution. Kind of like how your mortgage can be sold from company to company.

There are only two ways to avoid paying back student loans. Death or 100% complete disability.

haha, if that's the case, WaMu would have been a good choice....but it would be nice though if we don't need to pay back loan....I am daydreaming....keep daydreaming....😉
