Do schools look at both BCP and sGPA right off the bat, or just one?

The reason I ask is my sGPA is considerably higher than my BCP GPA only because of ochem lecture

If you did bad in your ochem lecture... it does more damage to your sGPA than your cGPA, so your sGPA should be lower than your cGPA (depending on your grades of course). I think you contradicted yourself on that second statement there.

Now answering your question, yes, they do look at both.

You're right, I did contradict myself, sorry :p

Well, hopefully ochem alone won't do too much damage. That was really my only sour science class, in addition to mammalogy. Grrr, why did it have to be ochem :(

Just look forward and ace your next classes. One class wont kill your chances of getting into dental school. You have tons of extra curriculars which is very good. Id say you have a good chance if you do good on the DATs. Good luck.

At one of my interviews they showed me my AADSAS printout, and all of the GPA's were right next to each other on the page, so they'd seem them all at the same time.
