Bcpm

Is it offered through your university or the Community College? I'm not sure they would count that, but I can't say for sure. If it is through your math dept. and is not listed as a remedial class I'm guessing that it could be counted. You should contact AMCAS or the TMDSAS to check for sure though.

It's offered through the community college. It's listed as: MATH-0302-46232 (0148822) PreAlgebra

so you are asking if a math class fits into biology-chemistry-physics-math (bpcm) gpa? umm yup i would say so...

so even if it was an remedial class it will still count towards the BCPM?

yes I just asked my counselor last week

Acccctuallllyyyy...

I dont think it will.. Check on that because I know for damned sure that if yo took that classs at a JC, the credit is not in the least bit transferable.. The university will look at it and not acknowledge its existance...

I agree with the penguin 🙂. I taught Math 090 and 095 (Beginning and Intermediate Algebra) and neither one counts for credit at the college (just as requisites), as they are remedial. If these did count for BCPM, you can bet that gunner premeds would try everything they could to pad their GPAs with a year or two of basic math 🙂

#1 You have to submit all college transcripts, so AMCAS will get a copy of the CC credits.

#2 It doesn't matter whether your university transfers the credits or not. AMCAS doesn't care.

#3 Yes it will be counted in BCPM.

#4 I have no idea if TMDSAS changes anything.

#5 If anyone does this to "pad their stats", they won't fool any admissions committee.

Hello, I have some questions about courses that count as BCPM.

Would the two courses (BIONB) Neurobiology and Behavior: Intro to Behavior and (BIONB) Neurobiology and Behavior: Intro to Neurobiology both count as biology in BCPM?

Thank you so much!
